1 Years Old: Actual day

We bought a mango mousse cake in advance during the Rainbow Center charity fair. So the proceeds from Andre's 1st birthday cake actually goes to charity. Don't you find that most meaningful? Such a win-win situation. To share yet celebrate. (Just fyi, in case 50 years down the road, we wonder what are the prices of birthday cakes in year 2010, the sunday 2 tier cake by Pine Garden is $105 for 2 kg (W/o deco, and this charity cake is $50)
Well, the catch is, we need to decorate the cake. And so we bought a set of sugary animal train set and recycled some of the decorations from the birthday cake on sunday.

Ta da.......... *drumroll*
My favourite family picture. One of the bestest we took throughout the year...

With the cousins. Poor Janelle has to go for tuition class..

Andre is cutting the cake with his cousins cheering on...

Upon return, we got Andre to step on some ang gu kwey... heard from some traditions that will mean, Andre will have plots of land in future ... wahahah!! Well, as Catholics, we are not supposed to be supertistious.. But well, it's just all in the name of good fun!
Here's wishing Andre a most wonderful first birthday. You are daddy and mummy's pride and joy in life. We hope that you will be blessed with health, happiness, wisdom, and most importantly someone who grows up loving GOD, for without Him, we will not be what we are today.
