My 2 boys

The brothers are starting to show their differences. Aiden at 9 weeks is a power packed little guy at 7.1 kg! I think he is the weightiest guy among all the babies in the forum.

But he's a happy little guy, cooing n smiling away all the time. Just wish i can capture some pictures of his big grins

aiden loves people to talk to him.. Paying close attention n responding with plenty of eye movements n nods. love to show off his mini stunts too... Like flapping his arms, and kicking his legs

as for Andre, he is also one happy n (ba dao) boy. Terrible twos? Yes, with all the whining n meltdowns. But he's mummy's boy... Calling mummy mummy all the time to play with him. Fav color at the moment is red or blue. Shares all his toys except for anything with these 2 colours.

Picking up language strongly too.. When something breaks, Andre will go "oh dear!". he is making up full sentences too with all his vocabulary. "kor kor wear shoe" "kor kor want iPad. Mummy please. Thank you mummy"

awwwwww.... What will I do without my 2 boys

New friend for Aiden

Ok.. Mummy is kinda going insane with house arrest. After nursing a breast infection causing a crazy fever at 39.5 degrees C , I am faced alone at home with a helper who does not understand simple English, a whiney 2 year old and a bawling 2 month old who refuses to sleep!

Enough, I decided to escape for 2 hours today to Orchard to find some sanity back, n boy , shopping therapy does helps. I bought 4 pcs of clothing.. (glad to know I can fit into m size bottoms! Whoopee!) n a hair accessory for Van's hen's party this sat night. Also, I checked out the new H&M store everyone is raving about.

At robinsons, bought $90 worth of children stuff including the following new friend for Aiden :) hope it can he him sleep better

super pleased with the purchases.. This is what I call shopping sprees! I love buying stuff for my love ones especially my kids!

We have a new kakak today... Aunty Intan..

Andre still feels a little strange on y his kakak has changed. But overall, he still takes her well, played with her (but does not like her to watch him bathe). It takes some time and we need to respect his privacy (even for a two year old).

But surprisingly came bedtime, Andre said his usual good nights, kiss daddy n went to bed with the new kakak..10.30 pm, no more sounds from the room. Sometimes, kids are much stronger than we think they are.. It's us adults that are so wishy-washy at times

It's 5 am in the morning... Aiden whimpers a little in his sleep.. I carried him, gently rocked him n he dozes back to deep sleep contentedly.

I inhaled deeply, taking as much of his wonderful baby smell as I could... This is the joy of motherhood. Baby, please don't be in a hurry to grow up too fast... I want to hold you in my arms like this forever...

Bye bye aunty yuli

Just send off aunty yuli who took care of Andre for 11 months. She left because her father is sick.

We wish her all the best in her future endeavors and pray that the new kakak will be good with kids too

Good news and bad

Good news is that Aiden is finally learning to take the tutu. As I always say, the inventor of the pacifier should be given a nobel peace price.

Bad news is yuli says she can't work for us anymore as her father is seriously ill and she needs to go home by next week...
