Hope it doesn't develop to those red lines at later stage. But i love my pregnant belly and enjoy looking at the bumps when baby is moving

23 Weeks 4 days: 6 months check up

Routine check up at KKH. Nothing much this time round. See baby nicely curled up? Those sacs that you see in the body are the kidneys/lungs/liver/bladder. I can't tell which is which though.

22 Weeks: Shanghai and Nanjing

See the wonderful ice-cream pics above? Here is something that Haagen-Dazs in Singapore ought to learn.

Daddy has a biz trip to Shanghai and mummy tagged along with a free ticket, thanks to her mileage accumulated with United Airlines. :) After a weekend at Shanghai, we took a train and spend one week in Nanjing, daddy's home town.

While daddy worked, mummy did her own shopping by zipping around using the trains. Shopping is good, though for imported stuff, they're still pretty expensive. At the current state, shopping for clothes is tough, but mummy managed to get some maternity wear from H&M. The most important thing we accomplished is to have the stewed pork la mian along Nanjing Lu. You know, for certain food, after you try it the 2nd time, it will not taste as nice. But for this particular item, after so many years, it is still so perfectly tasty. Imagine those cartoons where the character float into the sky and the flowers start to bloom.. I was shopping when it started to rain pretty heavily. Uh oh... no brolly. The mysterious thing is, these sellers with bags of umbrellas will suddenly appear out of nowhere in an instant at the shop's entrance. It's almost magic. Promptly bought an umbrella for S$1.

Couple of highlights:
Maglev: Mummy took it by herself for the first time to get to town. At full speed, the journey takes 7 minutes and 20 seconds to complete the distance of 30 km, although some trains in the early morning and late afternoon take about 50 seconds longer. A train can reach 350 km/h (220 mph) in 2 minutes, with the maximum normal operation speed of 431 km/h (268 mph) reached thereafter. The speed is simply amazing. I just got into the train, SMSed daddy of my arrival, and when i'm done, i've already reached my destination. DAMN! didn't take a picture.

Baby Clothes: Bought many baby rompers at the bazzaar near the Science and Technology Center. Osh Gosh, Carters etc. they were going for S$3 each. When we were at Nanjing, we checked out the malls for baby's clothes. Not cheap. But near Ye ye and nai nai's place, there is a wholesale centre call Huan Bei. We bought so many items from there.

Weather: It was smothering hot on the last day we left. 38 degrees C.

21 Weeks 5 days: Baby's expanding

I'm starting to develop an itch on my belly and it is driving me crazy and developing little bumps where the itch is. I'm trying the best not to scratch, cos i am so afraid of the stretch marks. Palmer's stretch mark cream, body moisturiser are not working ... what should i do?

21 Weeks 2 Days: Some Updates

I have been playing baby plus for baby once a day since Week 18. By right supposed to be 2 hours, but i can only manage 1 hr before bedtime. Too rush for me in the morning. I noticed that my baby kicks exceptionally hard when i play the device. And in the evening around 'lesson' time, i can feel that he is moving more, like time to go to school liao. Find that quite cute.

Other than that, i think i'm the most bo chup mummy around. I tried to play the piano once or twice and singing, but too much work in the office for me to follow up to be consistent. I bought nothing yet, and my house is in a mess. damn cham. looks like going to ling shi bao fo jiao when the baby comes. Hope baby dun become engineer in future like the mummy. Too tough liao. Be a doctor. 5 minutes consultation and collect $100.

20 Weeks 1 Day: Detail Scan

Today is the long awaited detailed scan at the ADC. And it's a BOY!!!!
hehehe =) =) =)

Other than that, the radiographer also did a scan of all the vital stats and all showed that baby is normal. Praise God!

His measurements were among the 50th percentile except the abdominal circumference which is slightly high (around 75th percentile). Hehe, my boy need to go for a diet liao.. haha

When i went home, i looked at the details, baby's head circumference is 171mm, when i took out the measureing tape, then i realized, although the measurement is average, baby is still so small inside our tummy
