9 Weeks

ok, conclude that my er bao is more of a terror than his/her kor kor. I never threw up so much and its making me so sick. i was good basically for the whole of last week. I thought MS is weaning off by itself.. but who knows ... the nightmare started on friday evening. and Sat and Sun too. Very Bad.

Friday night i was craving for nasi lemak real bad. Kevin went to Adam road hawker centre but it was sold out already. :( The whole night i did not sleep well cos i was feeling so hungry. Came sat morning, went to sixth ave... No nasi left! in the end, i just took plain rice with the chilli. Tad shiok! So sat evening, made Kevin go buy nasi lemak again. He walked all the way to beauty world to buy for me .. so sweet right. I was happy for a while.

Came sunday morning .. i went west coast market to dabao ikan nasi lemak. Alamak! Then the throwing up started non-stop. Now the thought of nasi lemak turns me off so much.

Last night, we had teochew porridge. It was nice and appetising .. i hope i won't get sick of it. Nowadays it is so bothersome to think of what kind of foods i can stomach. And most that i think i should be able to accept is the forbidden fruits eg. Rich chocolate cakes, pineapples, liang teh.. and CURRY ...

And so this is my battle with food. Keeping my fingers crossed that baby does not bully me further.

On a side note: found somthing fun ... If Erbao is borned on Sept 15 (my birthday), it will conincide with his kor kor's lunar birthday .. cool yah

Iphone Addict

Ok ... I hate to admit, but my son is an Iphone addict. Every evening when we journey home ... Andre will lean forward from the back seat and give me that expectant look. And he will go "ngeow ngeow ... whine whine whine" until I buay tahan and I'll take out my Iphone. Upon hearing the magic words, he will scramble as fast as he could onto Aunty Yuli's lap and reached out his hands... then he'll be quiet for the rest of the journey.

Recently, i paid for my most expensive aps. US$4.99 for 80 over children songs. Very cool ...

"Head and shoulders, knees and toes"... Andre will point to his head, shoulders
"Twinkle twinkle little stars" ....Andre will open and clench his fists

So Cute ...

8 Weeks: Little Bean

After a long long wait ... finally the day has come. We trooped down to KKH at 7.25 pm for our 1st appointment for baby 2. No more Dr Chee this time, but Dr Goh. Kevin asked me how come i chose Dr Goh this time, well, erm, actually was because i saw her once during Andre's time and she asked me if i wanted any MC... kekeke ... of course Kevin's expressions was like =_=

Typical KKH style .. chop chop ask the questions ... then its scanning time. For a while, couldn't see anything.. Oh dear. Well, then i recalled i just emptied out the pee not too long ago. So Dr Goh was like thumping on the belly. And then, i saw little bean! Not very clear, but in flickering moments, saw beanie lying very comfortable in my womb. And in flickering moments, saw beanie's heart thumping away .... pom pom pom pom . Baby measured at 7 weeks 6 days. EDD at 20 Sept 10, one day later from the predicted EDD.

Dr Goh assured that baby is in a good location and things look well... Thank God. Then she gave pills for the morning sickness, and gave the go ahead for next week's Korea travel, light exercise, no diabetic diet required yet ... woo hoo!

Next appointmment will be on the 28th. 3 weeks from now, and right after the Korea trip. Something that i need!

So with my two blurry pictures, and a happy heart, we ended our first visit. Andre was outside having fun climbing the sofas. He was shouting "Ma ma" ever so sweetly that i'm pretty sure all the mummies out there are envious of me. hehe ... I was feeling very proud la

This is the service with KKH. I remembered with Judy Wong, we did a vaginal scan. The pictures were clear, with the 42 inch TV placed right in front of me. She checked for a good 10 whole minutes before saying OK. For KKH, its the chop chop (you're just another pregnant woman) karli pok service.

The pricing is still about the same. But i still choose KKH. Because i think they have a very good diabetic care program for pregnancy. This is something that private gynaes do not offer, nutrition and dietary control and counselling. Dr Goh said she will do the OGTT test for me perhaps for the 2nd or 3rd visit. But well, for the 1st time round, i am glad i passed the pee test.
