19 Weeks 4 Days: 5th Month Check Up

Today is my 1st check up at KKH. Feel nothing more like a production part of an assembly plant. Everything runs with a protocol and SOP here. In general, very efficient, but definitely lack the human touch as well.

Dr Chee seems nice and good but i didn't get to see her face as it was hidden behind the face mask (H1N1 you know). I was very lucky to be able to get her at a short notice as she's very popular. Her questions were very brisk and the next few appointments were set at one go! Gah-men and private definitely a very big difference. A bit miss Dr Wong's por lor sor, chit chat manner, but well, for the savings i'll be getting with the switch, i guess i can do without the frills.

Anyway, back to the baby, I was eager to see whether it's a prince or princess. Kevin couldn't accompany me as he has a very important meeting. Baby seems to want to wait for daddy before the relevation cos his 2 legs were tightly giap together. I could literally see the 2 thigh bones in parallel lines. There is no way we can see the sex today as he was sleeping during the scan (sigh ..he was still kicking while i was waiting for my turn).
"Patience mummy ... let's wait for Daddy!"
Baby is also now too big for 1 scan, so Dr Chee helped piece 2 scans together. :) Nevertheless, i'm glad baby is growing well. Happy =)

19 Weeks 4 Days: 1st wedding anniversary

We dined at The Line, my favourite buffet. Love the free flow of lobsters, king crab and oysters...
In reminisce of what happened one year ago :) This is the church we got married in, Church of St Teresa
