I was looking so much to this visit to see how much Andre has grown. The last time, he has fallen to the 25th percentile.
Alas! Andre had not grown at all for the past month., his length still remains at 66cm and is now at the 10th percentile. Oh dear, what has gone wrong? I thought he had been eating well in China, but apparently, he is not taking the nutrients well from his food. :( Was told by Dr Ong to give fish paste (lots of protein) and as much meat as we can. Food cooked in meat stock is useless as it only gives the flavouring. Was also prescribed with infant vitamin drops. Will monitor for the next 2 weeks again. Apparently, half a bowl 2 times a day is not enough as well. (hey, i compare the eating requirements with the books, and those folks from the forum, they are taking much less than what i'm feeding now). Well, Andre has been waking up at night for a night feed, so probably he is not fed enough during the day. He's also not pooing a lot, so i guess everything digested.
Well, one thing for sure, we need to up Andre's food by a lot more to keep up with his hyperactivity and to make sure there is excess for his growth! Dear God, Kevin and I are not short, please take care of our boy so that he'll be kah-tik no more!!
