Well, i normally do not give regularly give monthly updates on milestones, but thought i would do so this month.
At 11 months, Andre...
1. can speed crawl (esp when he feels someone is chasing him, he'll be even more gan chiong)
2. can walk using either stationary or mobile support. Pretty steady if you look through the pictures in the blog. No signs of independent walking yet, but there were a couple of times, he let go and stood for a few seconds.
3. is in obsession with remote controls. First thing he does when we return home is to crawl towards our mio startup box and makes a grab at those controls placed there. Without fail. Mio control has been shattered. Starhub control is more robust. Hey, they should design these to be baby-friendly.
4. can throw things forward. He has more control of his motor skills. Previously, all the things were flung backwards. Bad thing though, he has been seen throwing his tantrums by throwing away the things he didn't like. And today at the playground, when my attention was on a 9 mth old baby, he threw a ball atthe baby's face and made him cry ... Oops.
5. can call his dad "da da". I'm pretty sure he said it with meaning... cos he'll look at his dad. But when he's desperate for help, he'll go "mum mum mum"
6. is a quiet thinker. Andre has never been noisy before besides a few shouts at home. He is normally seen zipping around swiftly and silently. Don't underestimate him, his actions are normally accurate and deadly...
7. Knocks on the door to wake us up every morning
8. Loves to play hide and seek. And will chucke most cheerfully when he finds his loot.
9. Knows how to climb down from the bed backside down first.
10. Loves feeding mummy biscuit. I one mouth, you one mouth.
11. Is a copy cat. When i blow into a cup, he do so too. When go da da, he will go da da da da da
12. Drinks water from a cup.
13. Love thrill rides. At Fidgets, he'll sit with mummy on the slide. The faster the better.(But i don't dare to bring him on the steepest. That, i find very scary myself)
14. Can put his tu tu into his mouth. No matter what position. (He could probably do this about 2 months back. Not too sure if i recorded it.)
15. is very aware of the world. When he is scared, he'll cling to you like a Koala bear. He knows daddy and mummy will be there to protect him. But when he knows he is in a safe place like home, he hates to be carried, but wants to crawl and explore. How practical...
